SyDERMA® has been tested by independent
laboratories to establish whether is would be considered safe for human
use. Upon completion of testing, it has been classified as non-irritating
to both skin and eyes and orally non-toxic in accordance with the Federal
Hazardous Substances Act, 16 CFR, Section 1500.
Safety test result summary statements are included below.
- Dermal Irritation
SyDERMA® would not be classified as a primary skin irritant
as defined by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act, 16 CFR, Section
1500.3 (c).(4).
- Eye Irritation
SyDERMA® would not be considered a primary eye irritant
as defined by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act, 16 CFR, Section
1500.3 (c).(4).
- Oral Toxicity
SyDERMA® is not considered to be toxic according to definitions
listed in 16 CFR 1500.3 (c).(2).(i).
SyDERMA® is designed for external use only and should not
be used in the eyes or on existing infections.
